The island of Veg is an informational event, holistic and playful, devoted to vegan world. A meeting point between people who are nourished in the traditional way and the people who feed only plant products. We believe that today more than ever being questioned by "citizens of the world" models, values and bad habits regarding our lifestyle. And today more than ever, it is necessary to promote ideas, debates and information processes that will help us all to increase knowledge and awareness about topics related to food and our health.

The island of Veg is an initiative that offers its partners an overview hearing through precise lifestyle on veganism. Lifestyle or philosophy of life that embraces and brings with it a host of very current topics and themes that attract the attention and curiosity of many people and that it seems only right to investigate further. The intent, therefore, is to incorporate within the initiative, a whole series of arguments, such as environmental sustainability, ecology, respect for animals and nature, the world of associations and of holistic disciplines and – more generally – delve into all those issues of the Interior process of the individual and the community, considering and analyzing, as a result, new approaches and new resolutions against the future.

The island of Veg is our idea of itinerant island for Italy, a project that brings under people's houses the multiple and poorly understood products "Veg" and that aims to find those organizations, small to medium sized, related to biological and production systems eco-friendly, trying to give room to associations and companies of the territory where it will stop. We will do all this by alternating debates and conferences with the help of specialists, doctors, nutritionists, biologists and professionals, social initiatives of new associations, food stalls, crafts and free tasting-holistic, music and book signings and new projects.
